Following our trip to Deep Blue Sound in Plymouth last month, guest speaking for the Prism Sound/JAMES ‘Mic to Monitor’ tour, we are pleased to have been asked back this month (22nd of June), by popular demand no less! We will be delivering a mastering seminar to the 3rd year degree level students and so we are expecting another great afternoon with the future blood of our industry at one of the best audio training facilities the South West has to offer. Looking forward to it!

We were very pleased this morning to receive a passing visit from Hugh Robjohns (Technical Editor for Sound On Sound magazine), after we met yesterday at the Prism Sound/JAMES ‘Mic To Monitor’ tour in Plymouth where we were both conducting workshops. Good to show him the studios, have a few brews over some tunes, and put the world of audio to rights for an hour or two with such a nice, knowledgable chap with a like minded passion for quality sound.

Prism Sound/Sadie and JAMES (the academic arm of the MPGs) are putting together a series of training weekends at JAMES accredited colleges and unis around the UK and after the success of our mastering workshop with Prism Sound/SADiE at the A2D music expo in Exeter, we are pleased to have been invited to deliver another talk on the 7th & 8th May at Deep Blue Sound in Plymouth.

We were pleased to be invited by Prism Sound/Sadie as guest speakers for their mastering workshop at the Analogue 2 Digital music expo in Exeter last weekend. We had a really great day out from the studio, met a lot of cool new people from all walks of the music industry and made a few new friends on the way. Our little 30 minute talk had turned in to 2 hrs (!) by the time we had finished the Q&A but really enjoyed meeting you all and answering your questions.
